This week Frank and I are starting our NEW year slim down. Like so many others, the holiday season got the best of our bellies- and personally, I am looking a little too "jolly". Therefore- to get back into our healthy eating routine I picked recipes from "Franks Favorites" (see top tab) and recipes that will help transition us back into healthy eating.
After a week (or two) of indulgent holiday eating, getting back on track can be challenging. Not simply because its easier (and sometimes more delicious) to make unhealthy choices, but more because my body has gotten into the routine of eating higher fat/calories meals. Salads that used to satisfy... leave me craving french fries... something that I battle with daily :)
Therefore, for this weeks menu we have some "transition-itory" recipes to help get back into a healthy eating routine!
